"So he got up from the table, took off his robe, wrapped a towel around his waist, and poured water into a basin. Then he began to wash the disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel he had around him." -John 13:4-5
As He knelt down onto his knees, Jesus provided the world a transformational example of humility, sacrifice and service. Today, the purity of our hearts is tied directly to how dirty our knees are.
We believe that modeling our lives after Jesus isn't found in programs. That's why we have so few of them. The Church in the first century didn't have big committees planning events. When they saw needs they responded with compassion, sacrifice and urgency. We try to do the same.
We do have a few organized ministries that are designed to make it a little easier for us to serve and respond to needs. But each of these began because one or two people saw a need and jumped in to help.
If you have a need or know of someone who does please let us know. If we are able to help, we will.
