Life sometimes gets busy and hectic. When it does we often choose to sacrifice things to make room for our busy schedule. Sometimes we sacrifice things that are actually God-given blessings, such as time to relax and enjoy a good book or spending an evening alone with our spouse. As a church, we’re committed to nurturing healthy families.
This is where the idea for Hugs Club comes from. Once every month or so we set aside some time for Mom and/or Dad to be able to drop their kids off at the Church building and enjoy a few hours time without the kids. We have many members of our church who are happy to volunteer a few hours of their time to provide childcare. Sometimes they are parents whose children have left home. Other times the sponsors might be the parents of young children themselves.
The Hugs Club meets periodically on Friday nights from 6:00p-8:30p. There’s no charge. All we ask is that you feed your children supper before dropping them off.
